Kendal Mountaineering Services started life early in 2004 after many years of its Director, Iain Gallagher (that's Iain in the picture), working in the outdoor Industry. With a wealth of experience and qualifications across a range of activities behind him, Iain offers a unique service to clients. Unlike many companies who offer set courses, Kendal Mountaineering Services tailor their content to suit the specific needs of the clients, and appoint individual instructors based on the clients requirements.
Away from work, you'll find Iain, and the other instrcutors KMS playing in the same place they work. Iain's love of the outdoors has seen him tackling some of England's toughest caves in the Yorkshire Dales, along with mountaineering and climbing in Europe, Africa and North America.
