Courses & Activities Pricelist
Prices below are for half day activities based on a 4 hour session. Any combination of two activities can be combined to make a multi-activity day apart from caving which can only be combined with climbing & abseiling. Full days are of 8 hours duration.
Appropriate techincal equipment is provided as part of the fee per person. See the activity page for details.

Guided Multi-Pitch Climbing
- Lake District based courses. 2 persons per instructor - £160 per day.
- North Wales & Scotland based courses. 2 persons per instructor - £180 per day, 2 days minimum.
Introduction to Scrambling
- Lake District based courses. max 3 persons per instructor - 2 persons £150 per day, 3 persons £180 per day.
- North Wales & Scotland. max 3 persons per instructor - 2 persons £170 per day, 3 persons £200 per day. 2 days minimum.
Guided Scrambling
- Lake District based. max 3 persons per instructor - 2 persons £150 per day, 3 persons £180 per day.
- North Wales & Scotland. max 3 persons per instructor - 2 persons £170 per day, 3 persons - £200 per day. 2 days minimum.
Cuillin Ridge Week - May & Sept
- £425 per person. 6 persons maximum. Includes 7 nights self catering accommodation and 4 days scrambling on the Cuillin Ridge traverse or 2 days guided scrambling of your choice. Additional scrambling days £90 per person (minimum group size 2 people)
Improvised Rescue Skills for Climbers
- Lake District based. 2 persons per instructor - £150 per day.
- North Wales & Scotland based. 2 persons per instructor - £170 per day. 2 days minimum.

- 2 day mountain Navigation course . Minimum - 4 persons per instructor - £80 per person. Maximum group size 10
- 2 day mountain navigation course with wild camp & night navigation session. Minimum - 2 persons per instructor - £160. Maximum group size 8
ML Navigation Refresher Days
- Individual persons £120 per day up to a maximum group size of 4 people.
Winter Skills Courses - Scotland Based
- 2 day winter skills courses - £80 per person. Min/max group size 6 persons per instructor. Not including accommodation
- 2 day winter skills course including accommodation. Min/max group size 6 persons. Price on application.
2 Day Winter Mountaincraft Courses
- This course includes an overnight in a snowhole - £80 per person. Min/max group size of 6 persons per instructor. Not including accommodation.
Guided Winter Climbing Days
- 2 persons per instructor £180 per day. Minimum of 2 days unless combined with another winter course. Accommodation not included.
Booking Terms & Conditions
All courses require a non- refundable deposit of 50% of the total course value to be paid at the time of booking. The balance is due upon course commencement unless stated otherwise by Kendal Mountaineering Services. Contact us for details.
